In other great news, it's almost that time again! Time to get our boats ready for that warm, sunny weather we have all been longing for. Be sure to get your spring work orders in as they are first come, first serve.
On April 1st, we will be open 7 days a week and forklift service will resume.
Another great season is coming to an end. Due to the cold temperatures the water is being shut off at the Marina on Thursday November 17th, 2022. There is a frost free spigot available to use - you will just need to bring your own hose. Also, please inform us that you will need to use it so we can place your boat near the spigot.
Thank you for another great year!
Thanksgiving hours:
Cedar Creek Marina is CLOSED Thursday Nov 24th - Sunday Nov 27th, 2022. We will reopen on Monday Nov 28th, 2022.
Bridge Closure on Rt 36 to Vehicle Traffic – Indefinite Period of Time
JULY 15, 2022 -- Officials with the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) said today that the Cedar Creek Drawbridge (on SR36 east of Milford) will be closed to vehicle traffic for an indefinite period of time due to a mechanical failure.
Workers were able to manually raise the bridge to allow marine traffic on Cedar Creek to freely move under the span. However, with the bridge in the open position, motorists trying to access the area via Cedar Beach Road (SR36) will have to use a detour.
DelDOT engineers have not yet determined the extent of the problem and are currently unable to provide an estimated repair time.
Vehicle Traffic Detours
• SR1 Southbound: Continue along SR 1 SB and make a left onto Slaughter Beach Road then continue Down Slaughter Beach Road and take access to Bay Road north or south.
• SR1 Northbound: SR 1 NB make an early right onto Slaughter Beach Road then access onto Bay Road north or south.
Message boards have been placed at four locations leading into the area to alert motorists of the situation.
The above message was copied from a State Representative on Facebook.
